Speaker 1:

2024 is upon us and I know so many of you are like getting ready for the new year. New year, new me, all that good stuff. And I want to plant a crazy thought in your head. I know you got goals and and they're probably around self-care, your family, business, career, community, all of those good things, and if personal growth and self-awareness are anywhere on that list, I want to give you the cheat code that is going to amplify the amount of growth that you can have in that self-awareness space. And I'm going to use Lance Furriama, matt Oly and Matt Graves as an example. Matt Oly just recently well, I say recently, just discovered him recently started posting these awesome, awesome, awesome posts. Matt Graves had started the construction curiosities newsletter and that had been bubbling, but he finally put his foot in the gas and he ain't taking it off and he has exploded this year. And Lance Furriama, I feel like six, eight months ago, started getting real active on on the LinkedIn and and he went from posting and connecting to live streams every week.

Speaker 1:

The consistency between what I'm observing in their experience and the experience that I've had is creating and like publicly sharing whatever that is blog, newsletter, live streams, just writing images, whatever it is, will absolutely challenge your comfort zone. It will accelerate the number of connections that you have. And I ain't just talking about the impressions and views and likes. I'm talking about people all of a sudden say, man, that person is pretty cool, I like the way they think, I like the value that they're sharing. I'm going to reach out to them and, even though it feels yucky and clumsy and ugly and like nobody's going to like it, it gets better, you get better. Rep after rep after rep, you get clearer about what your message is. You get clearer about how you want to deliver the message, the visuals, all the good stuff Like.

Speaker 1:

It opens up well, at least for me it's opened up this new vein of I'll call it creativity. But there's a whole lot of new skills that I had to learn, I had to study, I had to tinker with, I had to experiment with. Here we are a year later and it's like my mind has expanded so much. I've met so many people, amazing relationships and there's like a bazillion ways to serve and share my gifts and talents with the world. So the question to you is how scared are you of expanding your self-awareness and challenging your comfort zone? Spend the next few weeks thinking about what you can create and share or what value you can put into the world via social media. Be cool and we'll talk at you next time. Peace.
