do you think there's any value in violent urgency? Or do you feel like it's all about psychological safety? And I gotta confess, I do know the value of psychological safety. And I also know how difficult it is to like, nurture it and sustain that environment. And full confession here. When I'm in like, go mode, and we gotta make something happen, the clock is ticking, the game is on the line, I am all about violent urgency. So here's the thing though, it's not okay to preach psychological safety. And always function in violent urgency. And so what is violent urgency? It's like, we ain't got time for excuses, we don't have a lot of time to think, and collaborate, and you know, kick some ideas around and brainstorm. We gotta make shit happen. And what I think is a lot of companies, want to believe, or maybe even aspire, to, to be a psychologically safe environment. When their normal operating procedure is violent urgency. I really don't think the violent urgency is sustainable long term, but I know it produces results. And so, here's the question. If you're all about violent urgency, why not just let everybody know, and come to terms with the fact that that's the game that you're playing? You'll attract the people that fit into your culture. Stop pretending that you have any interest psychologically safe environment. Be cool, and we'll talk at you next time. Peace!
